Ken Gonzales-Day will speak on the “Plurality, Dissent, Encounter,” panel, at the The International Symposium, “The Forum Museum: Museum Spaces for an Intolerant World,” and the “William Bullock” Chair, to be held this year on Mar 14, 15, 2018, with the aim of prompting a reflection around the museums as open forums and think about the role that art and culture in Mexico and around the world has, regarding events like the Brexit in the United Kingdom, the victory of Donald Trump in the United States and the radicalization of speech in a racist and xenophobe way, that is taking place at these historic and political times.
