CURATED By Jenny Gerow
Reenactment is a group exhibition that will look at the aesthetic and political implications of historical reenactments in contemporary art. Through work in performance, video, and photography artists including Ken Gonzales-Day, Crystal Z. Campbell, Marisa Williamson, Maria Hupfield, Alicia Grullón, and Farideh Sakhaeifar engage with known histories to question their own cultural mythologies and origin stories.
The exhibition will include selections from the series, The Bone-Grass Boy: Secret Banks of the Conejos River
